Weekly Photo Challenge: Green

There’s note a great deal of green in evidence at the moment, so I’ve done a little digging in the archives for some verdant goodness. Here’s my green gallery:

Brassica in Kennixton farmhouse garden; sheep snoozing against a mossy tree-trunk; green-tinged seascape at Penarth; wild garlic and fresh wild garlic pesto; Charentaise shawl in Posh Yarn Daisy 4ply, colourway “Kew”;  green shoots at Cosmeston; leeks in Kennixton farmhouse garden; Ginkgo leaf shawl in Malabrigo Yarn Lace, colourway: “Lettuce”.

  1. All nice and lush greens. I must try and make wild garlic pesto one of these days. My housemate’s dad laughed his head off when I wanted to collect wild garlic in the wood near their house.

By the way, my cat started a blog:

He would be flattered to have you as a reader 😉

    All the best,

    • Do try it: it’s lovely! It has rather more bite than the regular basil kind, and is also excellent as a stuffing for proscuitto-wrapped chicken thighs.

Thanks for the link: I’ve subscribed!
