The view from here

This afternoon, in a bid to blow away the bad luck, and to generally get far away from anything on which Eoin could hit his head, we climbed back up the hill to the stepped streets of Docktown. This time, though, we looked down the cliff towards the Bay; it turns out that the view is just as good.

Behind the Pierhead Building, the curved roof of the Millennium Centre glowed in the sunlight. As we watched, a yacht zipped past.

Having apparently exorcised the head-injury demons, we wandered back into town in search of tea and lemon cake, both agreed that the day was finishing better than it had started.
